The first microwave was in 1967. Us young ones were all for it but my Grandmother referred to it as the "hot box" and didn't want to mess with it. I swear I feel the same way about i pods!
LOL! My first microwave was a gift that I didn't want, didn't think I would use. Within 6 months it was the most used appliance in my kitchen! (Mostly then to warm things up!) I'm with you on the ipod. (But I did get a "Jawbone" for Christmas -- for my cell phone!)
Hi, We here in the UK were a bit behind with Microwaves so we didn't get ours till late on. Going down memory lane what about those TVs that were a huge polished cabinet with double closing doors,and a tiny weeny screen.
