OH God Yes! I was not big on having my hair done, usually it was forced on me by my mother. I just hated the hair dryer deal... well... mostly I hated it because pretty soon I was going to see how stupid my new hairdo looked... LOL... the trials of being a teenager back then... OMG!
Who could forget baking under the hairdryer? and sleeping on hard rollers? and using tons of hairspray for that hairdo that would withstand gym class! thanks for the memories!
Don't you remember the days you had to sit under one of these?????

I remember my mom sitting under that at the salon and I can still remember the smell of the chemicals they used. Eck!
Used to? I think they still do down here in deepest Devon (UK).
