S&H green stamps

Does anyone remember these? I spent hours sticking those stamps in books in order to get a gift. One of the things I got was a wall mounted outside hose....still have it:)

Jacks

Loved to play jacks...remember over the rainbow? Seems pretty mild compared to today's activities. Loved to use a golf ball and play on cement:)

Biscuit cutters

Biscuit cutters.......did you ever use them?

Think the younger generation would be shocked that biscuits don't always come in a can to pop open and bake.

I have to confess here that I tried to make biscuits a few times and my family was more happy with the can results:)

We've come a long way baby

The first microwave was in 1967. Us young ones were all for it but my Grandmother referred to it as the "hot box" and didn't want to mess with it. I swear I feel the same way about i pods!

Bubble lights

Do you remember these? I loved those bubble lights!

You can still get them today but they cost a fortune.

Aluminium Christmas trees were popular in the late 60's. My husband and I had one the first year of our marriage and the only thing that seems good about it is that is was fire retardant!
